Honing in on the end


This new content update has taken quite a bit longer than I originally anticipated.  I'm sorry for the wait. That being said, I'm very proud of the new stuff I'm working on for the game.

These new routes are longer and more complex than what's in the base game. This update will more than double the number of CGs. Additionally there are some new quality of life updates that make the game more efficient for both me the developer and you the players.

Today I added a new feature that will let you skip straight to the major choices in the game if you have already reached them in a prior playthrough. (This was a bit tricky since there are minor choices that impact dialogue in multiple routes. My workaround for this is that the game will ask you to make those minor choices while skipping)

As of now the first 2 routes are done. One of them has many choices that lead to four different endings. The other has a two small choices, one which leads to two different endings.

The third route is completely written, it's art is 95% done, scripting is in progress.  (Art is basically done, but during scripting I usually find moments that I realize need a new art asset and then I have to make something new) This one has the most CGs of any routes in the game which is why its taking so long. It is also probably my favorite ending.

The fourth and fifth routes are heavily intertwined due to how one feeds into the other. Writing is still in the early stages. Several CGs and art assets have been made for these routes. And I've been putting together some of the mechanical framework for these routes to function. These two routes I anticipate to be shorter. At least, I know Four will be. Five, I've just started planning. I'll try to reign it in so I can get something out for you soon!

The end is in sight!
